My family and I were sick so much last year. It was pretty ridiculous. My kids missed more school last year than any other school year before.
When we woke up on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the flu, I vowed never to let it happen again.

Smoothie Tips
The key to making delicious smoothies (aside from using yummy, fresh fruit and veggies) is using a good blender. Not all blenders are created equal.
I used to have a cheap $20 blender from Walmart, but whenever I would use it to make my kids’ smoothies, they would complain about the unblended fruit chunks.
But that wasn’t the only problem. Once I started using the blender almost daily, it stopped working.
So I started shopping around, and I came across a Vitamix blender. I really, really wanted it! But it was way out of my price range. So, I did some research, and I found this Ninja blender.
It was significantly cheaper than the Vitamix and had really good reviews, so I gave it a shot. I’ve had it for a few years now and use it almost every day, and it’s still working great.
And no chunks!
I also own a Nutribullet, which I love as well!
A good blender can be a bit pricey, but you have to consider it an investment in your health and future.
