Simply Earth Recipe Box Unboxing
Okay, on to the unboxing. This month’s theme is salon in a box. The box includes 4 full-size essential oils and 6 fun recipes for healthier hair, stronger nails, and overall wellness.
The Oils
Rosemary Essential Oil 15ml
Rosemary essential oil is very uplifting. It’s great for hair growth, energy support, and it also promotes focus and concentration.
Palmarosa Essential Oil 15ml
I was super excited about this oil because I don’t have it in my collection and I’ve actually never tried it.
According to Simply Earth, this oil calms, soothes pain, and is also great for sleep support.
Spearmint Essential Oil 15ml
Spearmint essential oil is very uplifting. It also is great for digestion and is also a great oil to use for focus and concentration.
Fit Essential Oil Blend 15ml
This custom blend is made with grapefruit, lavender, and spearmint essential oils. According to Simply Earth, this blend is supposed to help curb your appetite and give you an energy boost.
The Recipes
The box also included 6 recipe cards and labels as well as a 1oz plastic container, a shampoo base, and a conditioner base.
Salon Day Diffuser Blend
This diffuser blend provides an uplifting aroma reminiscent of a day at the salon. It smells so good!!!
Strong & Long Shampoo
This DIY was super easy to put together. Everything needed is included in the box. All I had to do was add a few drops of rosemary and spearmint essential oils to the shampoo base and that was it.
The shampoo works great and smells great.
Fit Roll On
You’ll need a 10ml roller bottle as well as almond oil for this recipe. If you’re a first-time customer you’ll also receive a big bonus box with the purchase of your first recipe box which will include roller bottles as well as almond oil.
I had both of these on hand from previous big bonus boxes I had received. To make this roll-on all you’ll need to do is add almond oil and 5 drops of the Fit essential oil blend to the roller bottle.
This roller bottle is used to prevent snacking and promote energy.
Strength & Length Conditioner
This DIY was just as simple as the shampoo. Once again all I had to do was add a few drops of rosemary and spearmint essential oil to the conditioner base.
This conditioner worked really well. It left my hair super soft.
DIY Dry Shampoo
For this recipe you’ll need to have some cornstarch or arrowroot powder on hand. Luckily, I had some cornstarch so I was able to put this recipe together without having to buy anything extra.
I’ve been using this dry shampoo for the past few days and it works really well. Although, I did leave out the almond oil.
Nails Without Fail Oil
I’ve had cuticle oil on my list of must make DIY’s for a while so I was super happy to see this recipe included in this month’s box.
Aside from the almond oil, which fortunately I already had on hand, everything needed to make this DIY is included in the box.
This DIY took me about a minute to make and my cuticles are loving it. It’s super nourishing and moisturizing.
