I received my Simply Earth November recipe box a few weeks ago. I’ve been trying out the essential oils and making different recipes with the oils over the past few weeks.
All of which I have been loving by the way. So I thought I would give you a sneak peek inside the November 2020 Simply Earth recipe box.
But just in case you’re not familiar with Simply Earth, let me quickly tell you a little bit about the company.

Why I love Simply Earth
Over the years Simply Earth has become one of my absolute favorite essential oil companies. And here’s a few reasons why.
Their oils are amazing. They are 100% pure. Also, every essential oil batch is GC/MS tested.
Simply Earth donates 13% of all of their profits to organizations that are fighting to end human trafficking.
Simply Earth’s oils are extremely affordable. I used to be a member of a mlm essential oil company and the oils were extremely expensive.
Since I switched to Simply Earth I’ve been able to grow my essential oil collection without going broke.
Why I love the Simply Earth Recipe Box
I love getting my Simply Earth recipe box in the mail each month and here is why.
To put it simply, it’s fun. I love essential oils and getting a mystery box of essential oils delivered to my door feels a little bit like Christmas each month.
And because of the Simply Earth recipe box I’ve been able to ditch and switch so many of the toxic products in my home. The boxes typically come with everything you need to put together several different DIY recipes.
Simply Earth’s essential oils are already extremely affordable but by purchasing the recipe box you can save even more money.
When you purchase the recipe box it is significantly cheaper than if you were to purchase each oil individually from Simply Earth and that’s not counting all the extra goodies included in the box.
For example, the oils in this month’s box would have cost me over $50 if I would have purchased them individually rather than purchasing the recipe box.
What’s inside the Simply Earth November 2020 Box
This month’s recipe box theme is “light it up”. It includes the following essential oils.
Lime Essential Oil 15ml
Lime essential oil is great for many different things. I like to use it for cleaning. Sometimes I’ll add a few drops of lime along with a few drops of lemon to my diy all purpose cleaner.
Lime is also very energizing which makes it perfect for diffusing when you’re feeling a little sluggish.
Nutmeg Essential Oil 15ml
I go through so much nutmeg essential oil in the fall and winter months so I was so excited to see a full size bottle in the November box.
My favorite fall diffuser blends usually consist of a lot of nutmeg. Nutmeg can also be great for digestion support.
Pine Essential Oil 15ml
Pine is another great essential oil to use for cleaning. Just add a few drops to your favorite non-toxic cleaner to give your home that clean, pine scent.
Like lime, pine can also be very energizing.
Love Essential Oil Blend 15ml
Simply Earth’s custom blends never disappoint. They always smell so wonderful and this blend is no exception.
Simply Earth claims it evokes feelings of romance. I’m not sure about all of that but it does smell amazing. And it defintely has that romantic, floral, flirty scent.
It contains amyris, bergamot, sweet orange, and ylang ylang essential oils.
The box also included a 3oz bag of soy wax, a small bag of dried flowers, 2 cotton candle wicks, labels, and 6 recipe cards.
With the oils and extra items in this month’s box I was able to put together a few different fun recipes.
Love & Spice Diffuser Blend
This diffuser blend is a combination of the love essential oil blend and nutmeg essential oil. I wasn’t quite sure about the unlikely pairing but it actually smelled really good.
And I’ll definitely continue to diffuse this blend over the fall and winter months.
Winter Woods Candle & Love Candle
This was the first time I ever made homemade candles. I was concerned I was going to screw it up but they actually turned out great.
They only took a few minutes to put together, although they took a few hours to cool down before I could use them.
I’m not a big fan of candles because many store bought candles contain chemicals that can be harmful to your health but theses candles only contains soy wax, beeswax, coconut oil and essential oils.
They were super easy to make and both smell wonderful.
Energy Synergy Roll On
If you’re looking for a natural energy boost, you need to make this roller blend. It is made with lime, pine, and nutmeg essential oil.
The box also included recipes for wax potpourri disks and bath melts but I didn’t have the molds necessary to make those.
I plan to pick some molds up this weekend so I can put both recipes together. I think they would make awesome DIY Christmas gifts!
Overall, I am really pleased with the Simply Earth November 2020 recipe box.
If you’re interested in purchasing it, remember you can use the code HAPPYHEARTFREE to receive a big bonus box and a $40 Simply Earth gift card with the purchase of your first recipe box.
