Cedarwood (Himalayan) Essential Oil

Cedarwood is, hands down, what I consider to be one of the most underrated essential oils.

I always make sure I have cedarwood on hand because I use it for so many things. It’s great for hair, skin, and sleep, too!

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Ylang ylang essential oil is derived from the ylang ylang flower. It has a pleasant floral scent. It is a very calming essential oil.

Ylang ylang essential oil has also been found to boost your mood and relieve stress.

Happy Joy Essential Oil Blend

The Happy Joy essential oil blend contains a combination of grapefruit, orange, geranium, and ylang ylang essential oils.

All very happy essential oils, in my opinion!

This blend can help to boost your mood and energize you.

Head Soothing Essential Oil Blend

The Head Soothing essential oil blend contains a combination of lavender, ho wood, and frankincense essential oils.

It can help to relieve headaches. It also smells really good!

The Simply Earth May 2024 box also includes an amber spray bottle, argan oil, a homemade paperboard tube, recipe cards, and labels.

With the essential oils and extra items in the box, I was able to create the following items.

Happy Hair Wax

This happy hair wax can help to add shine to your hair and calm flyaways. It was pretty easy to make.

I have a major issue with flyaways, so I have been using this instead of hairspray, which is what I typically use, and it works great!

Shiny Hair Mask

To make this shiny hair mask, you’ll need coconut oil, argan oil, the Happy Joy essential oil blend, and an egg. I decided not to include a picture for this one because it wasn’t very pretty.

But it did work great.

You simply mix all of the ingredients together and then apply to dry hair. Fully saturate the hair from root to ends and leave the mixture in your hair for an hour. Then rinse it out and shampoo your hair ensuring the egg mixture is totally washed out.

This shiny hair mask will leave your hair shiny, soft, and beautiful!

Protect & Shine Hair Oil

This protect and shine hair oil can be used in several different ways. You can massage your scalp with it or use it as an overnight hair mask.

But I personally really love to use it to oil the ends of my hair to prevent breakage.

Bubbly Diffuser Blend

This diffuser blend is made with all the essential oils in the Simply Earth May 2024 box. It smells so good. The recipe card also includes a master blend recipe.

Head Soothing Roll-On

This roll-on is made with the Head Soothing essential oil blend and coconut oil. This roller blend can help to soothe neck and forehead tension. To use, simply apply to your neck and forehead and massage those areas gently.

DIY Custom Dry Shampoo

This DIY custom dry shampoo is super simple to make and works really well. I’ve been using it all week, and it works just as well as my own homemade dry shampoo recipe.

Overall, I am really pleased with the Simply Earth May 2024 box.
