This year is completely flying by. I can’t believe it is already August! I just received my Simply Earth August 2021 box and I can’t wait to show you everything that is inside.

Simply Earth August 2021 Box

The theme of the Simply Earth August 2021 box is Peace and Quiet. It includes essential oils and recipes to help you rest and relax. Learn more about the essential oils in this month’s box below.

Peppermint Essential Oil

Peppermint essential oil is one of the best essential oils for beginners and an oil everyone should have in their collection. I like to use it in my sore muscle relief roller and also in my homemade bug spray. Plus, it is also one of my favorite oils to diffuse.

Sage Essential Oil

I have never used sage essential oil before. I’ve used clary sage which smells and works a lot differently than sage so I’m excited to give this oil a try. It’s supposed to be very uplifting. It has a very earthy scent.

Lavender 40/42 Essential Oil

I’m obsessed with lavender essential oil. I use it in my hair, on my skin, and for sleep. I always have it on hand. But this lavender is a little bit different. It is blended to contain 40% linalool and 42% linalyl acetate.

These constituents help to increase the antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-oxidant properties in the oil.

Peace & Quiet Essential Oil Blend

Simply Earth creates beautiful blends. This blend is made up of sweet orange, frankincense, cedarwood, and lime essential oils. It smells amazing. It helps to calm and relax you.

The box also included citric acid, purple Brazilian clay, lava rock, and string. With the essential oils and extra items in my box, I was able to put together the following recipes.

Self Care Diffuse Blend

This diffuser blend is made with all the oils included in the August box. It smells wonderful. I went ahead and created a master blend because I know I will be diffusing this blend a lot!

Fizzy Purple Bath Scoop

This bath scoop is similar to a bath bomb except it’s shaped like a scoop of ice cream. The one I put together is still drying so I haven’t been able to try it yet. But as soon as it is completely dry I will be putting it to use.

Toilet Cleaning Bombs

These toilet cleaning bombs were pretty easy to make. And they smell awesome too. I just got finished cleaning the bathrooms and they actually worked really well. I’ll definitely be making these again!

Purple Striped Bath Salts

I didn’t have a chance to make this yet because I didn’t realize I was all out of epsom salt. I almost always have epsom salt on hand and it is the only thing needed for this recipe that isn’t included in the box.

So I plan on picking some up tomorrow and that’s when I plan on putting together this recipe.

Lava Rock Shower Diffuser

This DIY was quite interesting and also very easy to put together. You hang this lava rock in your shower and add essential oils to the rock and it basically diffuses essential oils throughout your shower.

I wasn’t sure how effective this would be at first but it actually works really well. I can’t wait to try out different scents while I’m in the shower.

Quiet Moment Roll-on

I love roll-ons! I use them all the time. This roll-on is made with the Peace & Quiet blend as well as peppermint and lavender. To use you just need to apply to your pulse points. It helps to calm and ease your mind.
