When I received my Simply Earth recipe box yesterday I was super excited to discover the theme was essentially cleaning without chemicals.

I’m extremely passionate about living a toxin-free life and the Simply Earth recipe boxes that get shipped to my door each month make it so easy to eliminate the toxins that are in my home.

Not only did the April box come with 4 full-size essential oils but it also contained supplies to make several DIY cleaning products.

If you are not familiar with Simply Earth, let me introduce you to one of my favorite essential oil companies.

Simply Earth Essential Oils

Simply Earth is a small, family-run, essential oil company based in Hingham, Wisconsin. Their essential oils are completely GMO-free. They’re also from pesticide-free sources, tested for purity and are 100% filler-free.

Simply Earth does not add any bases, carriers, paraffins or additives to any of their oils.

Simply Earth also does third party GC/MS batch testing and they display GC/MS reports for all their oils right on each individual product page.

Although, I did receive their March subscription box for free, please know all opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Simply Earth Recipe Box Subscription

Simply Earth sells single oils, custom blends, diffusers and so much more. But what really makes Simply Earth stand out among many of the other essential oil companies is their monthly subscription box service

The monthly subscription box contains 4 full-size, 100% pure essential oils, essential oil recipe cards and extra items you need to make the recipes. Each box is themed based on the month.

Each  Simply Earth subscription box is only $39. And there is no long term commitment. You can cancel anytime.

And if you’re a first time customer you’ll also receive a big bonus box as well as a $40 Simply Earth gift card with the monthly recipe box. More about that below!

The April recipe box came with the four essential oils below.

Lemongrass 15ml | Lemongrass can help improve your focus as well as help relieve pain. It’s also great to add to DIY cleaning products.

It’s also one of the main ingredients in my headache relief roller blend and my homemade mosquito repellent.

Tea Tree 15ml | Tea Tree is great for the skin and for cleaning. It can also help relieve congestion.

I use Tea Tree in my immune boosting roller blend as well as my bug bite relief roller blend.

Peppermint 15ml | Peppermint is a highly versatile essential oil. It’s one of the best essential oils for beginners.

It can increase your energy, improve your focus as well as aid in digestion.

Clean & Fresh Blend 15ml | This blend is a combination of Fir Needle, Lemon, Neroli, and Grapefruit. It smells amazing! I think I’m going to create a linen spray using this. And I’m also going to add it to my wool dryer balls.

It can be used for cleaning and it can also give you an energy boost which I think we can all use when cleaning our homes.

I love to make my own homemade cleaning products and I’m super excited to try this blend in place of the usual essential oils I use.

Simply Earth April Recipes

So each recipe box not only comes with full-size essential oils but it also comes with extra ingredients, tools and recipe cards to create DIYs to help you eliminate the toxic chemicals in your home.

The April box included a bamboo toothbrush for cleaning, an empty 2oz spray bottle, a 1oz container and a sheet of labels.

With the ingredients and supplies included in this recipe box (plus a few things from around the house) I was able to create the items below.

Shine Spray

Using the 2oz spray bottle, a little bit of vinegar and 20 drops of the Clean & Fresh blend I was able to create this Shine Spray.

It works great on glass, windows, and hard surfaces. It can even be used on stainless steel.

Grout Scrub

This grout scrub was another super easy recipe to put together. I only needed baking soda, vinegar, the bamboo toothbrush, and 20 drops of Clean & Fresh.

I’ve had a really hard time trying to create a grout cleaner that works well and I was actually really impressed with this grout scrub.

Gunk Remover

This is one of my favorite recipes in the April box. The Gunk Remover only took a few minutes to make and I only needed the 1oz container that came in the box, Lemongrass essential oil, and coconut oil that I had received in last month’s bonus box.

Gunk Remover essentially removes gunk or any type of sticky residue. I love to reuse old jars and bottles in my different DIY recipes and this stuff works great at removing sticky residue left behind from labels.

Work It Roll-On

I love roller blends. The Work It Roll-on is used to energize and uplift you while you work. It is made up of Peppermint, Tea Tree, and Fresh & Clean essential oils.

Happy Home Diffuser Blend

This blend just might end up becoming my signature diffuser blend. Not just because of the name but because it smells so good.

To make this diffuser blend all you need to do is add the Lemongrass, Peppermint and Clean & Fresh essential oils to your diffuser.

Not only does this blend help to boost creativity but it’s also the perfect Springtime scent.

Beeswax Furniture Polish

I have yet to put together this DIY but I plan too later today. I have had a really hard time trying to come up with homemade furniture polish so I’m super excited to try this.

If it works anything like the rest of the recipes in the box I’m I will love it.

Now I’m ready to start Spring cleaning thanks to the April Simply Earth recipe box.

I’ve got my grout scrub, furniture polish, glass cleaner, gunk remover, an amazing diffuser blend, and a roller blend to give me a little energy boost.

Plus four essential oils I can use in my future DIYs.

The Simply Earth recipe box costs $39.99. The value of the oils included in this month’s box is well over $39.99. And that’s not including the extra supplies and goodies.

So that is already an amazing deal.

But if you’re a first time customer you’ll also receive a big bonus box which is valued at $40.

But it gets even better – use the code HappyHeartFree to get a free $40 Simply Earth gift card as well! You can use the gift card on your next purchase!

That’s a crazy good deal and I hope you’ll take advantage of it. You can click here to buy it now.
