I love to read. But there are sooo many books and so little time. Because of that I try my best to only read Christian books that are beneficial to my walk with God. The books listed below have really helped me grow in my faith and that is why they are my 10 Must Read Books For Christian Women.
I think it goes without saying that the Bible is the number one book all Christians must read. I didn’t put it on the list because I think that’s pretty obvious. The books listed below are the books that have had a significant impact on my walk with God. They have truly renewed my mind and transformed my soul.
Make sure you read to the very end so you don’t miss out on your free book!

Must Read Books For Christian Women
I read this book for the first time when I was an itty bitty baby Christian. I had given my life to the Lord 6 months prior. At that time I didn’t know the importance of having a regular Bible study and prayer time. This book changed all of that. Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World is about the importance of sitting at the feet of Jesus regardless of the busyness and chaos in our lives. If you struggle with making time for Bible study and prayer then you need this book!
Once you’ve realized the importance of Bible study then you need to get this book. Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin offers a clear and concise plan to help you go deeper in your Bible study. Instead of mindlessly reading the Bible, this book will equip you with the knowledge and information you need to better understand the scriptures.
If you have ever felt rejected, left out, or less than, you need this book! Uninvited examine the roots of rejection, as well as rejection’s ability to poison relationships from the inside out, including our relationship with God. This book will help you deal with feelings of rejection and loneliness and ultimately strengthen your relationship with others and most importantly your relationship with God.
How many of us pray as often as we should? I know I’ve been guilty of relying on chance and circumstance instead of fervently praying and relying on God. Prayer is such an amazing privilege and gift! Fervent will motivate you to get on your knees and intercede on behalf of your family and loved ones and to never take prayer for granted again.
This is the second book by Lisa TerKeurst on this list. She is definitely one of my favorite Christian authors. Unglued is a must-read for anyone woman who has trouble controlling their emotions. This book will equip you with the knowledge you need to resolve conflicts and find peace in your most difficult relationships.
Our lives have become busier than ever! The technology that was supposed to make our lives easier often serves as a constant distraction from the things that matter most in life. Women Living Well is about how to hold onto biblical values and to live with more intention in a fast-paced, modern world.
So many of us have dreams and desires as little girls that get crushed and broken as we grow up. Because of the hurt and pain, we experience in this world many women can become cold and bitter. The message of Captivating is your heart matters more than anything else in all creation to God. This book helped me to understand my own heart and the way God designed it and grow closer to God.
Women are stressed out more than ever! Nourished addresses the ten most common stressors that mess with a woman’s mind from a biblical perspective. Do you believe the ability to hear God’s voice was only for people who lived in Biblical times? This is simply not true. God is still speaking to you and me today! Wherever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way you will understand. This book will help you to discover how you can discern the voice of God.
As wives and mothers, we are constantly praying over our husbands and kids but we often forget to pray for ourselves. Power of a Praying Women is broken down into 30 chapters. Each chapter addresses an important area in every Christian women’s life. At the end of every chapter, there is a prayer and carefully selected scripture that pertains to the chapter.
This is not a read once and done book. This is a book that I go back to over and over. The information in this book is worth more than gold to me. And that is not an exaggeration! Stormie Omartian, the author of this book, is an amazing, holy spirit-filled, gifted author.
This book and the prayers inside have transformed me, my relationships with others and my relationship with God in a way no other book has (besides the Bible, of course) 😉
If you don’t have a whole lot of time to read like me, you should try listening to audiobooks. I love listening to books while I fold laundry, clean house, do my makeup. It makes doing chores I don’t really like to do just a bit more enjoyable.
