10 Essential Oil Diffuser Blends For Fall + Free Printable
It’s time to throw out your toxic candles and air fresheners! Keep your home smelling amazing all fall long with these ten essential oil diffuser blends for fall. Pumpkin spice is my absolute favorite!

I love all of the seasons, but if I had to choose a favorite, it would definitely have to be fall.
There is just something about the leaves changing colors, the apple picking, pumpkin patches, and spending time with family that gets me so excited.
Fall isn’t quite here yet, but it’s on its way, and one of my favorite ways to make my home cozy and inviting during that time of the year is with essential oil diffuser blends for fall.
I love to make my home smell like pumpkin, cinnamon, spice, and all the other yummy fall scents.
I used to go to Bath & Body Works and stock up on their candles and air fresheners, but that was before I learned how dangerous those products could be for your health.

Some Candles Can Be Toxic
Regular scented candles are a huge source of indoor air pollution. They disperse toxic chemicals in the air that can be just as harmful as secondhand smoke.
Most candles are made of paraffin wax. Paraffin creates highly toxic benzene and toluene when burned, both of which are known carcinogens.
The toxins released from paraffin candles are the same as those found in diesel fuel fumes!
Some scented candles may have lead or lead cores in the wick. The lead can be released into your home through candle soot.
Many scented candles also contain artificial scents and colors that may irritate some people and trigger allergic reactions.
Air Fresheners Are Just As Bad
Air fresheners are the worst! They contain phthalates and many other hazardous chemicals such as benzene, formaldehyde, propellants, solvents, benzenes, synthetic musks, and many other nasty chemicals.
Studies have shown long-term exposure to these chemicals can cause damage to the lungs, liver, kidneys, and central nervous system.
They can also alter the body’s hormones, which may increase the risk of some cancers and the risk of reproductive problems.
Essential Oils To The Rescue
Essential oils are the best alternative to artificial fragrances. If you don’t know what essential oils are and want to learn more about them, you can check out my Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Essential Oils.
After purchasing my premium starter kit from Young Living in early 2018 (update: I’m no longer with Young Living. More about that below), I threw out all my candles and air fresheners.
Now, whenever I want my house to smell good, I just turn on my diffuser. Not only does it make my house smell amazing without toxic chemicals, but it also supports my body and mind.
Using essential oils is one of the smartest choices you can make when it comes to your health.
They make it so easy to eliminate many of the toxins and carcinogens that are lurking in your home. Ok, enough rambling; without further ado, here are the essential oil diffuser blends for fall.

Making the switch to essential oils is one of the best decisions I have made for my health and my family’s health.
There are many essential oil companies that sell high-quality essential oils. I used to use Young Living oils exclusively, but I couldn’t afford to use them anymore.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover several brands that sell amazing, high-quality essential oils at very affordable prices.
A few of my favorite essential oil brands are Plant Therapy, Simply Earth, and Far & Wild essential oils.
If you’re unsure whether your oils are pure, read this post—fake essential oil brands you should avoid—to learn how to spot fake essential oils.

Hello Candice,
I am new to this page. A friend made your amazing pumpkin face mask for me and then shared your page. I loved the face mask.
I was wondering if you have used or can comment on Rocky Mountain Oils. I bought just 4 bottles last spring when they were on sale. YL and Doterra were too pricey for me as well. It took me years to buy any essential oils simply out of fear of not knowing what was the safest company. I have seen a few of the ones you mentioned above and wast just curious on your thoughts of Rocky Mountain Oils.
Thank you,
Amy
Hi Amy. I really like Rocky Mountain essential oils. I have many of their oils in my collection. I did a full review on Rocky Mountain essential oils that you can check out here.
